Another Fresh Look As C4’s Partnership With Mobile IQ Enters Its Fifth Year
Launched in 1982 as a commercially funded public service broadcaster for audiences in the UK, Channel 4 is and always has been different. Its mobile offering has also sought to reflect the channel’s remit of demonstrating innovation and creativity and appealing to a culturally diverse society.
As the partnership between Channel 4 and Mobile IQ enters its fifth year, we have yet again played a huge part in the latest refresh of the channel’s mobile site.
The redesign, timed to coincide with the start of the latest Big Brother series, brings a fresh new look to the site to reflect and complement website, channel4.com. Navigation for the site is based simply around the winning formula of the ever-popular TV listings and A-Z programme information along with downloadable clips aimed at a target audience hungry for exclusive extras from their favourite TV shows.

Built entirely using Mobile IQ’s Fabric™ platform, the new site provides a balance of interesting and up-to-date content plus core features designed to engage the user. The site makes increasing use of live feeds to keep content constantly updated while simple navigation and a clean design allows Channel 4 the space to promote eye-catching featured content.
